Kim Woo Bin is a rock star? Well, apparently that’s the case as evidenced in the latest trailer for the new KBS drama Uncontrollably Fond (also known as Lightly, Ardently) where he stars alongside Suzy.  I think most of us were under the impression that he was going to be a popular actor, but it turns out he’s a rock star.

I do find that a bit strange, but who knows, maybe I’ll like it.  I’m pretty neutral concerning Kim Woo Bin in general, so maybe this different side of him will be more to my liking.  We’ll just have to see!

Uncontrollably Fond is a romance melodrama about Joon Hyuk (Kim Woo Bin), a top star, and No Eul (Suzy), a documentary producer.  The two are horribly separated when they are younger and meet again after many years.  It comes from the screenwriter of Nice Guy, Thank You, and A Love to Kill.

Uncontrollably Fond is scheduled to premiere July 6 on KBS.
