Kim Go Eun Offered Lead Role in Korean Drama Goblin With Gong Yoo

Goblin Korean Drama - Kim Go Eun

An offer is out to Kim Go Eun (Cheese in the Trap) to star alongside Gong Yoo (Big) in the new tvN drama Goblin coming from the writer of Descendants of the Sun, Kim Eun Sook.  And I so hope she accepts!  She was wonderful in the Cheese in the Trap, and I think she would be the perfect addition to this drama.

I’m always interested in dramas with a fantasy element to them.  And Goblin already has a lot of buzz around it and has the potential to be quite popular.  The pairing of Kim Go Eun and Gong Yoo would only work in its favor and certainly be a lot of fun.  I’m hoping this happens!

Goblin is a fantasy romance about a modern day goblin (Gong Yoo) who wants to end his immortal life and needs a human bride to do so.  He ends up living with a grim reaper who has amnesia.  The drama will tell the story of the lives of those that see the souls of the dead to the afterlife.

Goblin is scheduled to air in November on tvN.

  1. This is another one I want to keep an eye on (it’s still a ways out, but it’s never too early to start following a drama). 🙂 I like supernatural dramas as well, and this one looks like a lot of fun. I hope she signs on too!

Yes, it is never too early to get excited for a new drama! I really like the unique premise of this one, and I really want Kim Go Eun to accept. And I am a fan of the writer, so another reason for me to get excited 🙂
