Korean Drama Impressions: Vampire Detective Episode 8 Review

Vampire Detective Korean Drama - Lee Joon

Episode 8 of Vampire Detective delves a little deeper into a character again, but yep, still not San (Lee Joon).  Instead it’s…the doctor??  Not sure the reasoning behind giving him an episode, but that’s what happened.  But let me tell you, this episode was all kinds of weird!

We’re back to the case of the week as our team deals with a possession and exorcism.  I found this episode strange, over-the-top, and a bit all over the place.  I didn’t like it.

As usual, San gets an opportunity to sport his golden eyes and use his vampire power. The episode ends with San’s old police friends, Tae Woo and Yoo Jin, having a tense conversation.  Tae Woo gets Yoo Jin’s attention by informing her that San is still alive.  So did she think he was dead all those years ago?

Not much else to report, so I guess I’ll leave it at that.  Four more episodes to go!
