Kdrama Kisses

Well, after a lot of time and a lot of actors passing on this role, we finally have our leading man.  Jang Hyuk (Master of Trade: Inn 2015) has been confirmed to star in the new KBS drama Beautiful Mind.  Beautiful Mind is about a super smart psychopath surgeon (Jang Hyuk) with a brain condition that leaves him emotionless.  When his patients mysteriously start dying, he begins to investigate and along the way, he learns to love.

Also confirmed is Yoon Hyun Min (My Daughter Geum Sa Wol) as a very compassionate neurosurgeon and Park Se Young (My Daughter Geum Sa Wol) as another doctor.

An offer is still out to Park So Dam for the role of our leading lady, but no confirmation yet.  The first script reading is scheduled to take place on April 28.

So I said I would be a little surprised if Jang Hyuk took this role, but he must have seen something he liked and decided to jump on board. Which is fine with me!  Despite being another doctor drama, because of the mystery element and potential for a lot of character growth, this drama actually has peaked my interest.  And with Jang Hyuk confirmed, how can I resist?

Beautiful Mind is scheduled to premiere in June on KBS.
