Entertainer Korean Drama - Ji Sung

The first trailer is out for the new SBS drama Entertainer (Ddanddara) starring Ji Sung (Kill Me, Heal Me) and Hyeri (Reply 1988), and it is just plain fun! We don’t get to see much about the actual drama, but these two are adorable. Hyeri is dancing and having a good time at the convenience store where she works.  But she comes to an abrupt stop when Ji Sung walks in looking all cool in his stylish clothes and sunglasses.  He gives her a serious look and then suddenly strikes a pose and joins her in a hilarious dance!

I loved this trailer to bits!  Did anyone else see a little Yo Na from Kill Me, Heal Me in Ji Sung’s dance?  I loved his energy and just letting loose.  Of course, Hyeri looked like so much fun too.  I can’t say much from just this trailer, but I thought the two actually looked pretty good together in the same shot just having a fun time.  I can’t wait to see more!

Entertainer is about a manager (Ji Sung) who was once in charge of the top entertainment agency in Korea, but now represents rookies in his own small agency.  As a group of rag-tag musicians is assembled, he learns what it really means to be a manager.

Entertainer is scheduled to premiere April 20 on SBS.

I loved this teaser. My only worry was that the plot sounded so much like She’s So Lovable but this one looks very cheerful and vibrant. I’m looking forward to it!

This teaser was so adorable! I may have watched it a few too many times, lol. The plot reminds me of Beethoven Virus because of the underdog musicians coming together thing. I didn’t see She’s So Lovable, but that one sounded more melodramatic. I really hope Ji Sung gets to bring some of that lighter comedic side of him that he does so well 🙂

I dropped SSL after a few episodes. Yes, it was melodramatic and boring with zero chemistry between the leads.

The only reason I would even want to give the drama a look is because of Rain. But now it is so far down on my watch list, I may never get around to even trying it, lol.
