Kdrama Kisses

So much good casting news happening right now!  Joo Won (Yong Pal) has confirmed he will star in the drama remake of the classic 2001 movie My Sassy Girl.  The movie was a about a college guy who unintentionally gets involved with a gorgeous but obnoxious girl on the subway and ends up in a relationship with her.

Several places seem to be reporting that the twist on the remake is that apparently it is going to be a sageuk.  Now that’s a surprise!  I like a good sageuk, so I’m fine with that.  I’m just interested to see exactly what direction they will take with the story surrounding our two characters.

I’m so glad that Joo Won signed on for a kdrama before his enlistment in the military.  Seriously, it seems like all of the guys are leaving this year!  But many of them are trying to squeeze in that one last drama before they go.  This will also be Joo Won’s first sageuk which is something I’m interested to check out.

The drama will be completely pre-produced and is looking to air sometime this fall.
