Kim Yoon Hye Joins Lee Joon in Korean Drama Vampire Detective

Vampire Detective Korean Drama - Lee Joon and Kim Yoon Hye

Kim Yoon Hye (Flower Boy Next Door) has confirmed she will star in the new OCN drama Vampire Detective alongside Lee Joon (Heard It Through the Grapevine).  She will play the love interest of our vampire detective Lee Joon and will be involved in a love triangle with one of his friends.

This is the drama that comes from the same production team behind the popular Vampire Prosecutor series.  Despite the similar premise, this drama is in no way related to the series.  Also in the cast are Oh Jung Se who will play Lee Joon’s partner and Lee Se Young as an office worker.

Vampire Detective tells the story of a private detective who is turned into a vampire and tries to investigate the mysterious circumstances that led to his situation.

Vampire Detective is scheduled to air in the first half of 2016 on OCN.

‘in no way related’ *cries forever* But, the premise and plot were very good for Vampire Prosecutor, so I have high hopes for this drama ^^

I like the casting so far. I’ve only seen Kim Yoon Hye in one supporting role, and Lee Joon just in clips, but I’m definitely interested in seeing more about this one.
