Gong Seung Yeon (Karma) has joined the cast of the upcoming Korean drama Wife of a 21st Century Prince. She will play a woman who comes from a family of queens and will do whatever it takes to fulfill her destiny of becoming a queen. She joins the previously confirmed IU (When Life Gives You Tangerines) and Byun Woo Seok (Lovely Runner) who will star.
Wife of a 21st Century Prince is set in a fictional Korea where there is a constitutional monarchy and follows the romance between a chaebol heiress (IU) who has everything, but her commoner status creates problems for her and a prince (Byun Woo Seok) who has nothing and hides his identity.
Wife of a 21st Century Prince will air in 2026 on MBC.
