Hyena Korean Drama - Kim Hye Soo

Kim Hye Soo (Signal) has been offered a lead role in the upcoming Korean drama Hyena. She would play a lawyer who will do whatever it takes for money and success. Song Hye Kyo was originally offered the role, but she eventually turned it down. Joo Ji Hoon (Item) is still considering the other lead role of an intelligent lawyer with a big ego.

Hyena is a legal drama about lawyers who help the upper class and use the law as a weapon. It comes from the PD of My Love from Another Star.

Hyena is looking to air in late 2019.

Legal dramas can be a hit or a miss. As you know I am a huge fan of Lawless Lawyer (can’t stop talking about that one lol) but Stranger though not horrible, I liked less. So…will see how this one is going to turn out 😊

  I don’t blame you one bit for raving about Lawless Lawyer. It was awesome! 🙂 You know I’m like that too with legal dramas too. It’s just not a genre I love. Sure, there are a few I really like, but there are way more that I don’t 😛

    Yeah, feels like it’s been on forever already. All these dramas now sound the same to me. Same basic plot, just with different character names. 😒

      That’s usually what I feel when reading the plots for legal dramas. I do still check out trailers and see the fan reaction since a few do climb up above the rest. I have to be really picky with them though. I guess at least it frees up time for other genres I prefer 🙂
