The upcoming Korean drama City of Stars has lost its leading man as Byun Yo Han (Mr. Sunshine) has decided to step down from the role. No details as to why. It’s to bad since I was excited when he was cast for the chance to see him in a lead role. I’m still very interested in this space themed drama. It does sound like they are still planning to move forward though, so hopefully we get a new lead soon.
City of Stars has a focus on aerospace and tells the story of people who dream of going to space including an aircraft mechanic who wants to overcome his claustrophobia so he can become an astronaut.
City of Stars is looking to air in the second half of 2019.
