Sisyphus: The Myth Korean Drama - Park Shin Hye

We slow things down a bit in the new trailer for the new Korean drama Sisyphus: The Myth starring Jo Seung Woo (Life) and Park Shin Hye (Memories of the Alhambra). It has Park Shin Hye in the midst of a ruined city, but she finds a bit of hope in the song Spring Day by BTS. Aww, you gotta love that!

Sisyphus: The Myth is a sci-fi mystery drama about a genius engineer (Jo Seung Woo) who gets involved in a dangerous situation in order to find the truth that is saved by an elite warrior (Park Shin Hye) who has the skills to survive in a world ruled by gangsters and warlords.

Sisyphus: The Myth is scheduled to premiere February 17 on JTBC.

I did not get too excited about the trailer, but the story description sounds very promising.

Yes, the story sounds very promising. Some of the other trailers do showcase the drama a bit better. I’m definitely a bit biased though and got excited that the main character has a special attachment to the BTS song Spring Day in this trailer, hehe ๐Ÿ˜‚

I must be the only person in the kdrama fandom who has no idea who BTS are…๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Haha, I’m sure lots of kdrama fans don’t know either. Now kpop fans on the other hand certainly do ๐Ÿ˜‚ I became a kdrama fan first and then got introduced to kpop through the OST’s. Eventually found my way to BTS and now they are my favorite group of any current genre, not just kpop.

The song by them used in the trailer is very meaningful with its blend of hope in the midst of sadness, so it fits really well with what Park Shin Hye is going through. And of course the fangirl in me is always happy to see BTS pop up anywhere ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
