Kim Rae Won (Black Knight) has accepted a lead role in the upcoming Korean drama LUCA, short for Last Universal Common Ancestor. LUCA is about the idea that all species descended from a common ancestor. It focuses on a man who is born into the world of genetics and has special powers but doesn’t know who he is so he is looking for answers.
Kim Rae Won will play that man. Also starring will be Lee Da Hee (Search: WWW) who will play a detective. The drama comes from the writer of Your Honor and Chuno and the PD of The Guest and Voice.
LUCA is hoping to air in the second half of 2020 on tvN.
