Trap Korean Drama - Sung Dong Il and Lee Seo Jin

Sung Dong Il (Your Honor) and Lee Seo Jin (Marriage Contract) have accepted lead roles in the new OCN drama Trap. Trap is a mystery thriller about a TV anchor who gets involved in a dangerous situation while on vacation with his family.

Lee Seo Jin will play the TV anchor with Sung Dong Il as a detective. The drama comes from the PD of White Night and the writer of TEN. Apparently, this drama is OCN’s first foray into a style combining the production quality of film and the story telling of dramas. It should be interesting to see what we will get that.

Trap is looking to air sometime in 2019 on OCN.

I thought you would like the sound of this one 🙂 I’m very curious about this new programming they are doing mixing the best elements of film and dramas. Could be very interesting!

I honestly haven’t seen Seojin outside of his reality shows for the longest time, so I’m looking forward to watching him in this.

I haven’t seen him in a drama yet, so I’m interested to check out this drama. Really like Sung Dong Il too 🙂

I remember him from a really old drama or two. Really old (read: super dated fashions 😂) that I can’t remember even the title/s anymore 😅

Gotta love those super dated fashions, hehe 😉

Well, that PD/writer combo should be reassuring but as it is, even the good ones can fail *side eyeing Pretty Noona*

It has been a while since Seo Jin was in a drama. I bet most new(er) drama fans are not familiar with him at all. His best known drama is probably still Lovers, which could actually be up to your alley. 😉

Yep, it definitely has lot of promising potential with the production and actors. I haven’t had a chance to see Lee Seo Jin yet. I am interested in his last drama Marriage Contract, but I really have to be int the right mood for those terminal illness dramas, lol. I’ve been wanting to check out the Lovers series since I tend to like Kim Eun Sook dramas. Also wouldn’t mind a good old school melo. Thanks for the rec! 🙂
