Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Kang Woo Confirmed to Star in Korean Sci-Fi Drama ‘Circle’

Circle Korean Drama - Yeo Jin GooCircle Korean Drama - Kim Kang Woo

Well count me as excited! Yeo Jin Goo (Daebak) and Kim Kang Woo (Goodbye Mr. Black) have been confirmed to be starring in the new tvN sci-fi drama Circle. Circle will focus on two timelines, one in 2017 and one in 2037. The story begins in the present where people keep strict control of their emotions. Then aliens arrive on Earth, and the humans try to take advantage of them.

Yeo Jin Goo will play a college student in 2017 with Kim Kang Woo as a violent crimes detective in 2037. We also have a couple other casting confirmations. Gong Seung Yeon (Introverted Boss) will play a woman attending the same college as Yeo Jin Goo in the 2017 timeline. Highlight’s Lee Gi Kwang (Monster) will be a public servant in 2037.

I’m so thrilled that both Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Kang Woo signed onto this project. It seems quite unique with the sci-fi premise and the two timelines involved. I’ll definitely be looking forward to more details and to see how this drama takes shape.

Circle is looking to air in May on tvN.

Seriously cool. I ofcourse love sci-fi, and seeing as there are not a lot of Korean sci-fi movies/tv series it will be interesting to see where this will go. And ofcourse it definitely helps to have a few good actors aboard as well 😊 The story for this one really is unique…so count me in as being excited for this one 😀

I’m so interested to see the Korean take on a sci-fi story like this. And the story itself really has me intrigued. And yes, it’s great to have two solid lead actors. I’m more than ready to check this one out!
