Korean Drama Defendant Gets 2 Episode Extension

Defendant Korean Drama - Ji Sung

It looks like the SBS thriller Defendant starring Ji Sung will be getting a 2 episode extension. This will extend its run by one week and bring the total episode count from 16 to 18.

Defendant has been dominating in ratings in its time slot each week, so it’s not a surprise that the network would want to extend its success. Hopefully, this enhances the story and it is able to continue the intensity that fans have grown to love.

Defendant is about a top prosecutor (Ji Sung) who one day wakes up in prison on death row with no memory of how he ended up there. The drama then follows his attempt to figure out what happened and get out of prison with the help of a public defender (Yuri).

Great…even more episodes to watch….abd even more time I need to invest (lol😂). Seriously though, this drama is pretty high up on the list, and one of things I am looking forward to. Nice to one that the series will have an even longer run 😊
