Missing 9 Korean Drama - Jung Kyung Ho and Baek Jin Hee

Oh yes! The first thrilling trailer is out for the mystery island drama Missing 9 starring Jung Kyung Ho (One More Happy Ending) and Baek Jin Hee (My Daughter Geum Sa Wol). And if they were hoping to wow me, they succeeded with flying colors!

The trailer features some pretty intense music to get your heart pumping. It introduces us to each of our castaways while giving us snippets of the plane crash as well as some intense survival scenarios on the island.

Missing 9 Korean Drama - Jung Kyung Ho

I can hardly contain my excitement for this drama! I love the trapped on a deserted island premise, and it happens to be a pretty unique story as far as kdramas go. It stars the super talented Jung Kyung Ho who already looks like he is delivering the intensity. The rest of the cast is pretty great too.

And having just watched the writers previous dramas, Police Unit 38 and Bad Guys, I’m very much anticipating some intense twists and turns. Ahh! I seriously can’t wait for this one!

Missing 9 is the story of a washed up celebrity (Jung Kyung Ho) who gets stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash along with with his stylist (Baek Jin Hee) and seven other people in the entertainment industry. They go on an intense journey of growth while facing adversity and fighting for survival.

Missing 9 is scheduled to premiere January 18 on MBC.

This was so intense! I thought I was gonna be seeing a rom-com survival kinda drama but nOPE I GOT SOMETHING EVEN BETTER!
Missing 9 airs on Jan 18th and already has a trailer released, I wonder when Defendant will release a teaser it’s scheduled to air two days before Missing 9…

It really was! I think a lot of people were thinking it would be that way since that’s more what it was supposed to be originally, but it has gone through so many changes that it is an entirely different drama now, lol. But I’m with you, we got something even better!

Defendant does seem to be taking it’s time. I haven’t even seen any promo pics or behind the scenes stills of it. They are talking about a possible 1 episode extension of Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim which is what it will be replacing. So its premiere could get pushed back a week. I guess that would give it a bit more time. But I’m ready to see something on that one too.

I hope the drama will be also so intense and thrilling as the trailer! I saw you recommend the Police Unit 38, so I’m going to watch it while waiting for Missing 9 🙂

That trailer was seriously great! I hope the drama is intense too. I’m loving everything about it, and it’s the drama I’m most excited for in January 🙂

Yes, Police Unit 38 was really good. If you like crime dramas, it’s really solid. There really isn’t any romance though. It’s more focused on the unlikely friendship between the two male leads. Lots of nice twists throughout the drama. Since I liked it and Bad Guys, it’s another reason I’m looking forward to Missing 9 🙂
