Night Light Korean Drama - Uee, Lee Yo Won, Jin Goo

The first teaser trailer is out for the upcoming MBC drama Night Light starring Jin Goo (Descendants of the Sun), Uee (Marriage Contract), and Lee Yo Won (Ms. Temper and Nam Jung Gi). It gives us a look at all three of our leads as they embark on their ambitious journey to rise to the top.

We have Uee playing a poor woman who is given the chance to turn her life around and Jin Goo as an intelligent son of a CEO. Lee Yo Won will be pitted against Uee’s character.

Night Light is about people battling against greed and ambition to become successful. It comes from the PD of I Miss You and Thank You and the writer of Last and Temptation.

Night Light is scheduled to premiere November 21 on MBC.

I hate to say it (no not really lol) but yet another series that looks promising. Oh well, it’s not like we don’t have anything to watch yet lol. I like the story on this one though. Always interesting to see how things like this are going to play out 😀

Yeah, I could watch pretty much all of these new dramas. But out of the four dramas premiering next week, this one is probably lowest on the list. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on it though because there are plenty of dramas I get super excited about well into their runs and this one has a lot going for it. So many dramas!

I’m looking for another drama once The K2 wraps up this week. I’ve got the LMH series Legend of the Blue Sea in my sights. Besides Night Light, which interest me because of Jin Goo though I’m not wild about UEE, what are the other 2 dramas premiering next week?

Legend of the Blue Sea is a great choice. It’s my pick out of the four. Night Light looks pretty solid, and I like the cast. The other two premieres are Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Ju and Oh My Geum Bi. Both will be going up against Legend of the Blue Sea which will likely not be in their favor 😛 I’m interested in both of them. So three of the dramas actually premiere on the same day! I’m hearing some good things about Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim too. Not really interested in the medical aspect, but it looks darker and more melo. So there’s quite a bit too choose from 🙂

Thanks for the information. I don’t want to recap anything on the same nights as Legend of the Blue Sea. We’ll see what I choose to do. The good things about Kdramas, there’s always another one around the corner. I do rely on your blog to keep me abreast of the upcoming series. Thank you!

You’re very welcome 🙂 I understand that. Recapping two dramas on the same night would be difficult! I believe Night Light is the only other new one for awhile in the Monday-Tuesday slot. There’s also Goblin coming up on the weekends on Dec. 2. So if you’re looking for a different night, that could be an option if it interests you. Yes, luckily, there’s never a shortage of dramas, lol.

I am interested in Goblin because of Gong Yoo.

Haha…yes…and besides keeping up with dramaatje, I also have my Anime, movie and regular tv series addictions as well lol. Really wish there were more hours in a day lol 😀

Same here. Korean dramas are my preference and make up the biggest portion of what I watch, but I also watch quite a few other TV series that I’m always chronically behind on, lol
