Splish Splash Love Korean Drama - Yoon Doo Joon and Kim Seul Gi

The two episode MBC drama special Splish Splash Love has set an air date of December 13 & 20. Splish Splash Love tells the story of a high school student (Kim Seul Gi) who travels back in time to the Joseon era where she meets the young King Yi Do (Yoon Doo Joon). She is struggling in school because she hates math while he happens to love math but works to much trying to lead his people. They each need a little help, and thus our love story is set in motion

I love the premise of this drama. I’m a big fan of time travel stories, and this looks adorable. It doesn’t hurt that I absolutely love Kim Seul Gi, and I think she will be cute and hilarious in this. Make this another special that really should be a full length drama.

Splish Splash Love is scheduled to air December 13 & 20 on MBC.

I loved Kim Seul Gi in Oh My Ghostess. I think she is a very talented actress and should do well in this…but have to say I’m not a big fan of time travels. 😦

  Oh I love time travel, though I’ve actually only seen a couple time travel kdramas. I have to see everything Kim Seul Gi does because I love her so much. She really is very talented 🙂 This looks like it will be pretty cute. I hope it gets subbed.

    I’ve watched a couple. Queen In Hyun’s Man and Orange Marmalade. I don’t purposely seek them out, but usually ended up watching them for other reasons. If KSG is as good as she was as the ghostess, she’ll be fabulous. She’s definitely got the acting range to go with any role!

      I loved her in Flower Boy Next Door. She was also hilarious in a small role in Kill Me, Heal Me. I don’t doubt she’ll be great 🙂
      
      As far as time travel dramas, I’ve seen Nine and Rooftop Prince. Loved them both. I have seen Orange Marmalade too, but didn’t really think of it as time travel since it was more a past lives sort of thing, but being set in two time periods does give it a time travel sort of feel. I really want to check out Queen In Hyun’s Man too!
