For the month of September, I enjoyed the political revenge drama Again My Life and the historical investigation comedy Royal Secret Agent. Here’s how it went:
Again My Life
Again My Life is the dramatic tale of one man’s mission to get justice after he is sent back in time to bring down a corrupt politician. The drama mixes business and political maneuverings with suspense and action. There is also a bit of humor and heart. It has a well thought out story with high stakes.
The business politics was a bit heavy for my tastes, but I still found it engaging and was interested to see what was going to happen. Lee Joon Gi gave a great performance and was more than enough reason to enjoy this series. All in all, Again My Life was a good ride. (Again My Life Review)
Royal Secret Agent
Royal Secret Agent was an enjoyable series. It has a solid story with a dramatic side as well as a good amount of humor. It has several main arcs involving cases as well as a main story running throughout the background. The show has a steady pace with consistent plot developments. It kind of has an older vibe that I really liked as well as a simple but wonderful soundtrack.
Royal Secret Agent is a fairly straight-forward for the most part, but it executes everything very well which makes for a good drama. It mixes comedy, action, and drama to make for an entertaining watch. (Royal Secret Agent Review)
