We have quite a nice variety of kdramas to choose from as we enter into the new month. Let’s see what we have to look forward to in this September 2025 edition of “Korean Dramas You Need to Be Watching.”

1. Confidence Queen

Confidence Queen is about three people (Park Min Young, Park Hee Soon, Joo Jong Hyuk) involved in credit fraud who team up to steal from greedy and evil people.
Confidence Queen is scheduled to premiere September 6 on Amazon Prime.

2. My Youth

My Youth is a romance about a former child actor (Song Joong Ki) who went through many difficulties and is now just trying to live a peaceful life, but that is disrupted when he reunites with an entertainment team leader (Chun Woo Hee) driven by success.
My Youth plans is scheduled to premiere September 5 on JTBC.
3. Tempest

Tempest follows the story of a diplomat (Jun Ji Hyun) and an elite mercenary (Kang Dong Won) who work together to find the truth behind a huge conspiracy threatening South Korea.
Tempest is scheduled to premiere September 10 on Disney+.
4.The First Lady

The First Lady is a political drama that follows the scandal, secrets, and conflict that ensues after the newly elected president (Ji Hyun Woo) wants a divorce from his wife (Eugene) who is set to become the First Lady in the lead up to his inauguration.
The First Lady is scheduled to premiere September 24 on MBN.
5. You and Everything Else

You and Everything Else is about a drama writer (Kim Go Eun) and a filmmaker (Park Ji Hyun) who were childhood friends but slowly drifted apart throughout their adult years. The two then reunite when the filmmaker is terminally ill.
You and Everything Else is scheduled to premiere in September on Netflix.
6. Walking on Thin Ice

Walking on Thin Ice is about an ordinary mother (Lee Young Ae) dealing with hardship who discovers a bag of drugs and is drawn into a dangerous situation with a mysterious art teacher (Kim Young Kwang).
Walking on Thin Ice is scheduled to premiere September 20 on KBS.
7. To the Moon

To the Moon is about three women (Lee Sun Bin, Ra Mi Ran, Jo Aram) who are struggling to get by that work at a Confectionary company, and they dream of getting rich through cryptocurrency.
To the Moon is scheduled to premiere September 19 on MBC.
8. Ms. Incognito

Ms. Incognito is a romantic comedy about a bodyguard (Jeon Yeo Bin) hoping to change her life so she goes into a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol chairman, but she ends up having to take on a new identity and go into hiding where she meets a single father (Jung Jin Young).
Ms. Incognito is scheduled to premiere September 29 on ENA.
9. Shin’s Project

Shin’s Project is a comedy about the owner (Han Suk Kyu) of a chicken restaurant who teams up with a delivery driver (Lee Re) and a rookie judge (Bae Hyun Sung) to mediate conflicts and tackle injustice in the neighborhood.
Shin’s Project is scheduled to premiere September 15 on tvN.
10. Queen Mantis

Queen Mantis is a crime thriller police detective (Jang Dong Yoon) who seeks the help of his famous serial killer mother (Go Hyun Jung) who has been in prison for many years after a copycat killer shows up.
Queen Mantis is scheduled to premiere September 5 on SBS.

Twelve

Twelve is about 12 different heroes representing the zodiac fighting evil spirits to protect the Korean Peninsula. Starring Seo In Guk, Ma Dong Seok, Park Hyung Shik, Sung Dong Il, Lee Joo Bin
Twelve is scheduled airs Saturday and Sunday on Disney+.
Mary Kills People

Mary Kills People is about a doctor (Lee Bo Young) who illegally provides euthanasia to terminally ill people and a terminally ill man (Lee Mi Ki) with a secret.
Mary Kills People airs Friday and Saturday on MBC.
Beyond the Bar

Beyond the Bar centers around the lives of lawyers with the focus on real life cases. Starring Lee Jin Wook and Jung Chae Yeon
Beyond the Bar airs Saturday and Sunday on JTBC.
Love, Take Two

Love, Take Two is a comedy about a 43 year old single mother (Yum Jung Ah) and her 23 year old medical student daughter (Choi Yoon Ji) who move to the countryside to start over and meet a variety of people who help them learn about life.
Love, Take Two airs Monday and Tuesday on tvN.
