Yeo Jin Goo (Link: Eat, Love, Kill) has been offered a starring role in the upcoming Korean historical drama Saeraenadae. Saeraenadae follows the love story of a prince who wants to escape the country so he disguises himself as an unemployed recluse and a poor woman wanting to be successful in Joseon.
Yeo Jin Goo would play the prince who pretends to be an unemployed recluse. Jo Byung Gyu was previously offered the role but ended up turning it down.
Saeraenadae is looking to air later in 2024.
Ah, this might actually be one to check out. Hopefully there’s as little palace politics as possible. That’s always the one that spoils my enjoyement of sageuks.
