April is here, and spring is in the air! We have romance, friendship, family, and thrills making their way to Dramaland. Let’s see what we have to look forward to in this April 2023 edition of “Korean Dramas You Need to Be Watching.”
This monthly series is meant to keep you updated on what’s happening in that amazing world of Korean dramas so that you don’t miss out on anything! Here are the kdramas you should keep an eye out for in April 2023:

1. Family: The Unbreakable Bond
I am so excited to have one of my favorite drama couples reuniting for this spy comedy! I know they have great chemistry, and hopefully, we get a good story and some nice laughs along the way.
Family: The Unbreakable Bond is a comedy spy drama about a skilled NIS agent (Jang Hyuk) who works undercover as an office worker unbeknownst to his loving wife (Jang Na Ra) who also has a secret.
Family: The Unbreakable Bond is scheduled to premiere April 17 on tvN.

2. Stealer: The Treasure Keeper
Stealer: The Treasure Keeper is a comedy action drama about a civil servant of the Cultural Heritage Administration that ends up teaming up with a thief of cultural assets who goes by Skunk (Joo Won).
Stealer: The Treasure Keeper is scheduled to premiere April 12 on tvN.
3. Bo Ra! Deborah
Bo Ra! Deborah is a romantic comedy about an amazing dating coach (Yoo In Na) who has challenges in her own relationships and a charming and prickly publishing planner (Yoon Hyun Min) who struggles with love.
Bo Ra! Deborah is scheduled to premiere April 12 on ENA.
4. Dr. Romantic 3
Dr. Romantic 3 is about a talented doctor (Han Seok Kyu) who used to live as a recluse that mentors younger doctors (Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung) by teaching them about life and love.
Dr. Romantic 3 is scheduled to premiere April 28 on SBS.
5. Paper Moon
Paper Moon is a thriller about a well-off housewife (Kim Seo Hyung) who feels bored with her life so she gets a contract job as a bank employee. She then starts embezzling money from her VIP clients, and her life gets turned upside down.
Paper Moon is scheduled to premiere April 10 on ENA.
6. The Good Bad Mother
The Good Bad Mother is a heartwarming comedy about a woman (Ra Mi Ran) who became a “bad mom” in an effort to help her son and a prosecutor (Lee Do Hyun) who who suddenly loses his memory and begins to acts like a child.
The Good Bad Mother is scheduled to premiere April 26 on JTBC.

7. The Secret Romantic Guesthouse
The Secret Romantic Guesthouse is a mystery romance about a woman (Shin Ye Eun) who runs a boarding house where three students (Ryeo Woon, Kang Hoon, Jung Gun Joo) who are known as “flower scholars” that have some secrets are staying.
The Secret Romantic Guesthouse airs Monday and Tuesday on SBS.
8. Oasis
Oasis is set during the 1980’s as three friends (Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, Chu Young Woo) fight to protect their dreams, friendship, and first love.
Oasis airs Monday and Tuesday on KBS.
9. Joseon Attorney: A Morality
Joseon Attorney: A Morality is about the greatest attorney (Woo Do Hwan) in Hanyang who starts out deceiving people and using them to his advantage, but he unintentionally becomes a hero and the voice of the people as he matures into a good attorney.
Joseon Attorney: A Morality airs Friday and Saturday on MBC.
10. Pandora: Beneath the Paradise
Pandora: Beneath the Paradise is about a woman (Lee Ji Ah) who has a perfect but doesn’t remember her past. But when her memory returns, her life is shattered and she sets out to take revenge and become the First Lady of Korea.
Pandora: Beneath the Paradise airs Saturday and Sunday on tvN.

Our Blooming Youth airs Monday and Tuesday on tvN.
Call It Love
Call It Love is a romance melodrama about a woman (Lee Sung Kyung) who seeks revenge on her father’s ex-mistress by getting close to her son (Kim Young Kwang), but the son is a lonely and pitiful man that she soon finds herself falling in love with.
Call It Love airs Wednesday and Thursday on Disney+.
Taxi Driver 2
Taxi Driver 2 is about a taxi service where the drivers help their passengers get revenge on those who wronged them which includes a taxi driver (Lee Je Hoon) that was a special forces officer whose mother was murdered by a serial killer.
Taxi Driver 2 airs Friday and Saturday on SBS.
Delivery Man
Delivery Man is about a taxi driver (Yoon Chan Young) who grants the last wishes of ghosts with the help of a ghost (Minah) who doesn’t remember who she was.
Delivery Man airs Wednesday and Thursday on ENA.
Divorce Attorney Shin
Divorce Attorney Shin is about a talented divorce lawyer (Jo Seung Woo) who does his best to help his clients as seeks the truth in a personal matter.
Divorce Attorney Shin airs Saturday and Sunday on JTBC.

Yup, Family is my pick too. I’ll probably try out Joseon Attorney as well, though sageuks in recent years have mostly been a bust for me. I’ve had way more luck with Chinese historicals and costume dramas. 🙂

I checked out the first two episodes of Joseon Lawyer annndd it doesn’t seem to be one for me. Oh well, one less drama to try and slot into my roster. 😄

Quite a few to choose from this month which as great! Definitely interested in Family and Bo Ra. Currently watching Secret Romantic Guesthouse and Our Blooming Youth and enjoying both. So rare for me to be watching 2 period pieces at once! 🙂
