Jane the Virgin Korean Drama - Sung Hoon and Im Soo Hyang

Im Soo Hyang (When I Was the Most Beautiful) and Sung Hoon (Love: ft. Marriage and Divorce 2) have taken lead roles in the new Korean drama Starting Today, We (also known as From Today We Are).

Starting Today, We is a remake of the American series Jane the Virgin which originated in Venezuela. It is about a young woman that is a virgin who is accidentally inseminated by her gynecologist and becomes pregnant.

Im Soo Hyang will play the woman who accidentally gets pregnant with Sung Hoon as the CEO of a cosmetics company and the biological father of the baby. Joining them will be Shin Dong Wook (My Unfamiliar Family) as Im Soo Hyang’s detective boyfriend and Hong Ji Yoon (My Country: The New Age) as a woman with her sights set on marrying Sung Hoon.

Starting Today, We has plans to air in 2022.

    Well, well… the OTP of New Tale of Gisaeng in the same drama again. Are they going to be an item in this one too? Just wondering as I haven’t watched either one of the previous versions.

      I haven’t seen the other versions either, but I believe the female lead had relationships with both guys from some spoilers I’ve read. So it looks like they will be an item, it’s just a matter of which direction the kdrama version decides to go with who she ultimately ends up with.
