Cha Eun Woo in Talks for Lead Role in “Island”

Island Korean Drama - Cha Eun Woo

Cha Eun Woo (True Beauty) is now in talks for a lead role in the new Korean drama Island. He would play a hip exorcist priest with a sad past. Kim Nam Gil (The Fiery Priest) was recently confirmed for a lead role. Also still considering another starring role is Seo Ye Ji (It’s Okay to Not Be Okay).

Island is a fantasy mystery about the daughter of a wealthy family who is exiled to Jeju Island and is targeted by a creature that is trying to destroy humans. She meets a man (Kim Nam Gil) who needs her to end his immortal life as well as an exorcist priest and they all team up.

Island is looking to air in the second half of 2021 on OCN.

Hmmmm sounds good really… I love the feel of it. The mystery elements sound really good and I think KNG is a good addition. Now I REALLY HOPE Seo ye ji does take on the role! I think she will make a great team with KNG😍

  I think this one sounds really good too. Fun supernatural premise and all. I’m also really hoping Seo Ye Ji signs. I know she would do wonderful with this role 🙂
