Yook Sungjae Steps Down From “Man Who Bakes Bread”

Man Who Bakes Bread Korean Drama - Yook Sung Jae

Aww, it looks like BTOB’s Yook Sungjae (Goblin: The Lonely and Great God) has decided to step down from the upcoming Korean drama Man Who Bakes Bread. That’s disappointing as I was looking forward to seeing him in this drama. I guess we will have to wait though. Casting is still in progress for the drama.

Man Who Bakes Bread is based on a webtoon about a cat  that has the ability to change into a human who starts living a double life in order to always stay close to his owner. The drama comes from the PD of 100 Days My Prince and the writer of Introverted Boss and Marriage, Not Dating.

Man Who Bakes Bread is planning to air sometime in 2019 on tvN.

Well, I guess if he was the “cat who changed into a human”, I might go for this show. Otherwise, I hope he waits for a very good one.

That’s who he was supposed to play, which I think he would have been quite fun in the role. But yes, hopefully something else good comes along.
