Haechi (Hatch) Korean Drama - Jung Il Woo

It’s time for a look at another historical coming our way this year with the first trailer release of the new SBS drama Haechi (or Hatch) starring Jung Il Woo (Cinderella and the Four Knights) and Go Ara (Miss Hammurabi). It has a very intense feel as it introduces us to all of the key players in the drama including our leads of Jung Il Woo and Go Ara. It’s a nice first look that has me excited!

Haechi is the story of a prince (Jung Il Woo) born of the king and a commoner who bands together with a ragtag group that includes a government inspector (Go Ara) to try and secure his position on the throne. The drama comes from the writer of Hwajung and Dong Yi.

Haechi is looking to air in February on SBS.

Another sageuk. Fantastic! The trailer looks interesting but please don’t tell me it’s another zombie one. 😒

Yes for more sageuks! And so far I’ve heard nothing about any zombies running around in this drama 🙂 Hopefully, they’ll all stay over in Kingdom. I guess anything could happen in a kdrama though, lol

Yes I jumped into conclusion when I heard of this drama and said that maybe I won’t watch it because it’s a historical. But the trailer just encouraged me so so much. And I love to see Go Ara again and I’m missing my Jung Il Woo.

This trailer really does look promising. It’s a great introduction. And I’m excited to see Jung Il Woo in a new drama. I was just warming up to him when he went into the military, so I’m hoping he solidifies my love in this drama, lol
