“Encounter” Sees Dip in Korean Drama Ratings But is Still Performing Great

Boyfriend (Encounter) - Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo

Encounter (also known as Boyfriend) starring Park Bo Gum (Moonlight Drawn By Clouds) and Song Hye Kyo (Descendants of the Sun) saw a bit of a dip in Nielsen drama ratings this week. It saw 8.5% for episode 5 and 8.6% for episode 6. But those are still some fantastic numbers for the drama. Next week we will see if it can rebound and head upward again.

Encounter is an opposites story that follows the complicated romance between a free-spirited ordinary man (Park Bo Gum) who seems to have nothing and the daughter (Song Hye Kyo) of a politician who seems to have everything.

    Ughhh, the ” I will hurt u and leave u because I love u and lying is the only way to protect u ” period is coming in encounter . Plz Drama gods, stop blessing us with more masochistic romance..
