Choi Jin Hyuk Experiences Cinderella Amnesia in First Trailer for Korean Drama “Devilish Joy”

Devilish Joy Korean Drama - Choi Jin Hyuk

Now we get our first look at the new Dramax drama Devilish Joy (also known as Diabolic Happiness) starring Choi Jin Hyuk (Tunnel) and Song Ha Yoon (Fight for My Way). We  see a contemplative Choi Jin Hyuk as he experiences his condition called Cinderella Amnesia and recalls a traumatic accident from his childhood. For a romantic comedy, it’s a pretty somber trailer but still very interesting.

Devilish Joy is a romantic comedy about a doctor (Choi Jin Hyuk) suffering from “Cinderella Amnesia” where his memory only lasts one day and then resets who falls in love with a washed up actress (Song Ha Yoon).

Devilish Joy is scheduled to premiere September 5 on Dramax.

    If you did not mention that this was a romantic comedy, I would not have guessed that from this trailer. Maybe it might not only go down the comedy road but instead will be something more as well?

      I know, I was surprised when I first saw it. I mean I do always expect even most rom-coms to mix in more serious stuff and sometimes even get quite melodramatic in the second half. But I’m more used to cute and fun trailers to start with. I think there’s a good chance it will be more though 🙂

        Yes, and most of the time Korean dramas are shift tones anyway so there is that. I will be keeping an eye on this though. It does look very interesting 😊😊 And…now I have to decide which K-drama to watch next. As I have completed Lawless Lawyer 😊

                It was a tad bit late yesterday when I started it, so I have only seen the first 15 minutes of it so far, but I hope to continue with it tonight. That said: wow….this really is dark. But usually don’t have a problem with that. Will let you know my thoughts on it soon 😊😊
