I have to say that I almost did not want to read this post, considering the backlot of dramas I still have to watch lol. But of course you know that I could not resist doing so anyway lol. Mr. Sunshine is the one I really want to see. Not only would that mean that I finally get to see an historical drama, but I’m also a big fan of Lee Byung Hun . My ID is Gagnam Beauty sounds pretty interesting as well. And then there is Sketch, which as it’s almost ending will also move up into my to watch list. (Not to mention Lawless Lawyer). Great list, and some cool things to look forward to 😊

Haha, yeah, every new guide is intimidating since it just seems grow The List! Mr. Sunshine would certainly work double duty for you by giving you a historical and Lee Byung Hun. Plus being from the same writer/duo of DOTS and Goblin, of which you liked both. So it has a lot of promise. I’m 6 eps into Lawless Lawyer and it’s great so far. I think it would be one you would find interesting. So definitely some good ones out there!

Well…I have been on my bingewatch today for Tunnel. Made it to Episode 13…think I have one more in me before calling it quits for today (I do have to work tomorrow lol). And just to not leave you in suspense: I love the show 😀
I haven’t quite decided yet what to watch after this one, but Lawless Lawyer really does sound truly tempting to watch, although I’m also very curious about the second season of Bad Guys….heck..maybe I will just watch both lol 😂😂

Woohoo! Glad you’re loving Tunnel! I knew that would be a good way to spend your Sunday 🙂 Yeah, looks like you may have to save that final stretch though. Work is always getting in the way, lol.

And I say a big yes to both Lawless Lawyer and Bad Guys! Lawless Lawyer has a great story and interesting characters portrayed by amazing actors. I’m really enjoying it. And of course, Bad Guys is dark and gritty, which we know is right up your alley. At least you have a couple good ones to choose from for your next kdrama watch 🙂

Well..that 13th episode is going to have to wait till tomorrow evening as I got a bit sidetracked in bloghopping. But that’s okay. Something to look forward to😊
Yeah both series sound great so it will probably be one /both of those that are up next! 😊

Despite of my earlier misgivings, I’m really liking ‘Life on Mars’. 🙂 That’s one adaptation done right, so far anyway. I’m also watching ‘Are You Human Too?’ but only for Robo Shin3, he’s just way too cute… and innocent. I don’t really care a whit about the plot or the other characters, heh. What can I say, Drama fills my mindelss fluff quotent atm. *g* I may take a look at ‘Miss Hammurabi’ too at some point but I’ve still got several older dramas to finish/check out, so we’ll see.

Of the upcoming dramas I’m mostly interested in ‘Live’ as it’s by the writer of FoS. The only thing I feel iffy about is the premise – a hospital drama. Definitely not one of my faves as premises go.

Well a big yay to that! I’m glad to hear that the Life on Mars adaptation is doing things right, especially since the original meant so much to you 🙂 I’ve been hearing a lot of positives about Miss Hammurabi. I had mostly written it off since it’s another legal drama, but now I’ve been considering giving it a look. Although I haven’t really had much luck when doing that concerning legal dramas. When will I learn? lol.

Being a medical drama is the main reason I plan to pass on Life. Although I expect to be tortured by lots of positive talk about that one too. And I’m big fan of Lee Dong Wook and I like what I’m seeing of his character in the trailers. So it’s really hard to pass on. I plan to hold strong though. We’ll see, hehe 🙂

I checked out Miss Hammurabi because of all the rave. Although I enjoyed watching each episode, I really didn’t have the drive to continue watching it and so I have dropped it. I am not a big fan of legal dramas. In saying that I really liked the first episode of Lawless Lawyer though. Have to keep watching and see.

That’s mostly what I’m afraid of with Miss Hammurabi. Since I don’t really care for legal dramas, even the ones I find good still don’t usually pull me in. And I can tell Miss H is unlikely to be gripping, so I have hesitated to try it because of my track record with legal dramas.

Lawless Lawyer is a bit different though since it’s more of a legal thriller. I still don’t love the legal stuff, but so much of the story is outside of the courtroom with a lot of exciting stuff going on. And Lee Joon Gi is definitely a big bonus for me too, hehe 😉

That’s kind of what I was thinking. It’s probably one I’ll just keep low on my watch list in case I’m just ever in that particular mood 🙂

My pick is also Mr Sunshine with Life as my second choice. I don’t like medical dramas but I am a big fan of Lee Dong Wook and Jo Seung Woo so it’s hard to pass up this one. I might check out a few first episodes and see I go.

Yes, I’m so excited for Mr. Sunshine! I absolutely can’t wait to dig into that one 🙂 I’m also a big fan of Lee Dong Wook, so it makes me sad that Life is a medical drama. For now, I don’t plan to check it out, but I think it has a lot of potential to make everyone love it, so I expect to be tortured hearing about it, lol.

Lol yes re Life. You never know. It may turn out so good you might just have to watch it after all.

Just curious- what else are you watching other than lawless lawyer please?

        1. Kay Avatar

Very true. That’s why even when I’m pretty sure I don’t plan to watch a drama I always keep tabs on it because it could fully catch my interest at any point.

Besides Lawless Lawyer, I just finished Rich Man yesterday. I’m going to finish up Lawless Lawyer over the next few days and then probably start Greasy Melo. Are you watching any others?

I will wait until you do the review for rich man before I pick it up. Currently watching are you human too and enjoying it. I think the idea of the story is clever and execution is very good. Not sure if that’s on your list.

Oh it’s most definitely on my list! I like robot stories and the idea of exploring what it means to be human. Plus, a bit of sci-fi, romance, and drama, it has the makings to be something I would really enjoy. Overall reception to it seems to be pretty good too. Glad you’re liking it. I really can’t wait to check it out!

Yep I think you will really like it. In amongst all the legal and medical dramas this is a nice change. Only thing I regret is live watching it because the wait for the next episodes each week is painful. 😂

That’s what I was thinking. Anytime I hear about something non legal or medical, I really perk up. And this one is particularly different, so that’s even better. Haha, yeah, that’s why I can’t handle live watching. I’ve regretted it multiple times before when I’ve done it, so I’ve gotten pretty good now at waiting. Though it’s still always tempting when a hit drama is airing and everyone is raving about it, lol

Just when all my dramas are ending, and I think, when will there ever be another good drama like this one, and you put out this post of all these dramas that look so interesting. Guess I will just have to keep feeding my drama addiction. Most interesting is Mr. Sunshine, but IDK if I will like it it because I am not a superfan of historical dramas. We shall see….

July really is one of those crazy months full of new dramas and many look interesting. It certainly feeds that drama addiction, lol. I’m optimistic for Mr. Sunshine since I do really like historicals. It’s the writer’s first full historical, so I am interested to see how much of her usual style makes its way into it. It certainly looks epic and gorgeous though!
