‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’ Stays on Top in Korean Drama Ratings

Ruler Master of the Mask Korean Drama - Yoo Seung Ho and Kim So HyunSuspicious Partner Korean Drama - Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun  Mystery Queen Korean Drama - Kwon Sang Woo and Choi Kang Hee 2

Ruler: Master of the Mask is churning out solid numbers each week in Nielsen drama ratings. It saw an overall increase from last week by landing at over 13% for it’s even episode each night.
Ep. 09 – 11.9%
Ep. 10 – 13.8%
Ep. 11 – 12.1%
Ep. 12 – 13.8%

This was finale week for Mystery Queen. It again held steady bringing in similar numbers to last week.
Ep. 15 – 8.4%
Ep. 16 – 8.3%

Suspicious Partner also saw similar numbers to last week coming in just behind Mystery Queen.
Ep. 09 – 6.8%
Ep. 10 – 8.3%
Ep. 11 – 7.1%
Ep. 12 – 7.8

Everyone has pretty much settled into their spots for the last few weeks. But next week brings us the premiere of the romance melodrama sageuk Seven Day Queen starring Yeon Woo Jin and Park Min Young. So we will have to see where everyone lands with the new competition.

Suspicious Partner airs Wednesday and Thursday on SBS.

Ruler: Master of the Mask airs Wednesday and Thursday on MBC.

Mystery Queen airs Wednesday and Thursday on KBS.

    I am not surprised! I enjoy that show a lot! ♥
    I haven’t tried watching Suspicious Partner yet, but I will soon. Currently, I’m looking forward to the next episodes of Ruler: Master of the Mask and Fight for My Way 🙂

      Glad you’re enjoying it 🙂 I’m going to start Ruler here in a couple weeks and I can’t wait. Just keep hearing good things about it. I also plan to watch Suspicious Partner and Fight for My Way. Lots of good dramas right now!

    Actually this writer has a lot to learn, poor characterization and over use of common tropes. Heroine is a tearful heap rather than the strong sassy girl we were lead to expect.Every time the plot throws up a meaningful event the opportunity to build on it is thrown away. The drama is only finally picking up after 28 episodes. The lead roles are mostly flat and one dimentional.
