Jung Jae Young Searches for His Daughter in New Trailer for Korean Drama ‘Duel’

Duel Korean Drama - Jung Jae Young

Another trailer has been released for the upcoming OCN clone drama Duel starring Jung Jae Young (Assembly) and Yang Se Jong (Saimdang Light’s Diary). We see Jung Jae Young with his sick daughter, and then she is kidnapped right before his eyes.

He frantically searches for her and comes across a man who looks just like the kidnapper. Things proceed to get pretty intense as he tries to solve this mystery and get his daughter back.

Duel is a suspense drama about a police detective (Jung Jae Young) who ends up pitted against a murderous human clone (Yang Se Jong) when his daughter is kidnapped.

Duel is scheduled to premiere June 3 on OCN.

This looks so seriously awesome that I almost can’t put it into words. Wow…this is absolutely and totally my cup of tea for sure. The action and acting for it look terrific. Really can’t wait to see this (ofcourse as usual it is not listed here amongst the upcoming series…aargh sometime I really hate living in Holland lol 😊).

It does look really intense! I’m anxious to check it out too 🙂 Ugg, I know that would be so frustrating to have so many dramas not come to your country. How many dramas do you think actually get licensed there? Do many of them eventually come, just on a delay?

In the US, pretty much all of the main dramas get licensed as well as some of the weekend family dramas. Chinese dramas are more problematic. They are really gaining momentum and more and more are getting licensed, but there are quite a few I would like to see that aren’t. I guess you can’t have it all, lol.

Sometimes there are some surprises. For instance Descendants of the Sun and Goblin were available pretty much from the start. But pretty much every OCN series does not get available here, which is a real shame. It’s not that I don’t have anything to watch or something like that (lol), but recently I am missing out on quite a few very good shows that I would have loved to have seen. Oh well, as you say yourself can’t have it all. Glad to read that things are much better in the Us though, maybe I should move there 😂

So you usually get the BIG series, hehe. But yeah, it would be nice if more of the OCN dramas were available since that’s a genre you really like. That’s how I feel about the Chinese dramas we don’t get. Of course, I have more than enough to watch, but I guess I just always want more, lol. But yeah, the US does seem to be a good place to be if you like kdramas 🙂
