First Trailer Released for Korean Clone Drama ‘Duel’

Duel Korean Drama

The first trailer has been released for the new OCN clone drama Duel (Dual) starring Jung Jae Young (Assembly). Duel is a suspense drama about a police detective who ends up pitted against a murderous human clone when his daughter is kidnapped.

It’s a short first look, but it packs in the suspense. The trailer shows a hooded figure as DNA images flash by that eventually morphs into two figures. The second part of the trailer follows a similar pattern with audio of Jung Jae Young frantically searching for his daughter in the background.

Clones are definitely an interesting concept. We really have some unique stuff coming to dramaland in the next couple months. Sign me up!

Duel is scheduled to premiere in June on OCN.

You are absolutely correct, there are a couple of great and very unique series heading our way the coming months. I really like the fact that they are thinking up concepts that we have not yet seen before in Korean dramas. Great stuff 😊 The trailer is short, but your right in that it really brings up great tension 😀

That’s what I’m excited about. It’s great to see that kdramas are finally exploring some of these concepts. I’ve long wanted to see the way kdramas really bring to life people and emotions mixed with sci-fi themes. I just hope some of these upcoming series do well so that they will want to continue doing them 🙂
