Healer Korean Drama Review

Healer Korean Drama Healer is an action drama about a star reporter (Yoo Ji Tae) who enlists the help of a mysterious man who goes by the name Healer to help uncover a mystery from his past. As Healer (Ji Chang Wook) investigates a young woman named Chae Yeong Shin (Park Min Young), he develops feelings for her and learns that he may be involved in the very mystery he is trying to uncover.

Healer is one of those really solid dramas that has very little to pick apart.  It has a little bit of everything: action, drama, mystery, and romance.  The story is well developed with an interesting mystery to solve, a great cast of characters, and a leading couple with fabulous chemistry.

Healer Korean Drama - Ji Chang Wook

This was my first drama starring Ji Chang Wook, and he was wonderful!  His cool Healer persona easily transitioned to his socially awkward real life persona.  It was adorable watching him fall for Yeong Shin.

Healer Korean Drama - Park Min Young

I have also really enjoyed Park Min Young’s previous roles, but she really shined in this drama.  Chae Yeong Shin was such a sweet, strong, and relatable character.  These two together made for too many heart fluttering moments to count.  Their chemistry was undeniable, and I just couldn’t get enough of this couple.

Healer - Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young

And if you don’t like love triangles or annoying second leads, there are none to be found in this drama!

Healer is one of the most popular dramas of 2015 for a good reason.  Do you think it lived up to the hype?

My Rating: 10/10

Someone talked to me while writing the review now it was messed up, lol, what I meant was I stopped on the first episode because I thought I wouldn’t like it but it turned out to be a very good drama and yes not second lead is a plus.

Park Min Young plays some of the best characters, and this is one of my favorites 🙂 I completely agree with you, such a lovely and bright character. And Healer is one of those dramas where the first ep doesn’t quite do it justice. But right once you get to the main couple together at the end things suddenly become amazing!

This drama made me fall for Ji Chang Wook too! 🙂 I had already loved Park Min Young in City Hunter and Sungkyunkwan Scandal, but Healer really cemented my love for her. I absolutely adored her character here. Healer is one of my all time favorites too 🙂
